Safari Hunt Adventures offers travel services and is the controller of personal data. The company processes personal data independently or by assigning a data processor, ensuring compliance with the requirements of the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), the applicable European legislation (Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council and related documents), the by-laws normative acts regarding the protection of personal data, the regulatory framework in the field of the tourism industry and the created internal regulatory framework for working with personal data.

Subject matter, purpose and scope

The Safari Hunt Adventures (Company) Privacy Policy (Policy) outlines the basic principles and guidelines that apply to the processing of personal data, as well as the rights of data subjects, the obligations of the Company as a controller of personal data and those of its employees as operators.
The Policy is part of a comprehensive system of internal documents, technical measures and organizational controls that Safari Hunt Adventutes implements to ensure that its staff, consultants and all other natural and legal persons who, by assignment, process personal data on behalf of the Company, will strictly comply with the applicable European and national legislation, as well as internal rules, thereby guaranteeing the right of natural persons to the protection of the law.
One of Safari Hunt Adventures’ guiding principles of ethical business conduct is the preservation of personal information. This principle is enshrined in the Business Code of Ethics, which was confirmed by a decision of the Board of Directors and objectified in protocol No. 14 of October 18, 2020. Every employee in the Company has the duty and responsibility to comply with the personal data protection policy, which are shared by all organizational levels and structural divisions. This policy seeks to assist employees in their day-to-day work with personal data and expands this idea into precise guidelines to prevent data breaches.
A breach in the security of personal data poses a serious risk to the rights of affected individuals and may have far-reaching negative consequences for the Company, its shareholders and all employees who have breached the relevant internal and external standards. As a result, any violation of this Policy is considered a serious offense and an act that damages the reputation of Safari Hunt Adventures and undermines its credibility.

Personal data we process:

1. Personal information known to data subjects. To carry out an activity requested by the data subject or in connection with the exercise of rights, Safari Hunt Adventures processes personal data that is informed by the data subject through an application, contract or other document on his initiative.
2. Personal information of which subjects are unaware. For the purposes of processing personal data of natural persons who receive payments from the relevant government authorities or from other economic entities, in the circumstances permitted by law and where this is related to Safari Hunt Adventures’ obligations under law to improve the relevant civil and commercial legislation .
3. Personal data, depending on the type of data (special categories of personal data).

  • data on the state of health of its employees, in connection with the fulfillment of legal requirements, in their appointment, for the purposes of occupational medicine and health and safety at work, in connection with the exercise of their rights in case of temporary incapacity for work and in connection with exercise of their rights in case of permanently reduced working capacity
  • data on the health status of users of tourist services, provided by them in fulfillment of contractual requirements for the exercise of rights, preferences and interests.

If you upload images to the site, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Site visitors can download and extract location data from images on the site.

How long we keep your personal data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so that we can automatically recognize and approve subsequent comments of yours, rather than holding them in the approval queue.

Your rights over your personal data

You can request to receive a file containing all the data we hold about you, including data you have provided to us. You can also request that we delete the personal data we hold about you. However, this does not include data that we are required to store for administrative purposes, for site security purposes, or by law.
